digital land use plans

Right from the beginning of a project, amer uses totally digital area development plans based on the current national standards, such as:
- the standard comparable area development plans (SVBP2008);
- the information model for developing and exchanging digital plans (IMRO 2008);
- the best practice for digital processing of spatial data (PRBP2008).
The maps are produced with ROPLAN by Bentley. Exchanging plan maps is done via exchange formats like DGN and/or GML. Before the plan map is delivered, it is checked by a validator. The texts for the area development plans are written with DeztaPlan. The exchange of plan texts can be done via XML, DOC and/or HTML formats. The entire area development plan is also delivered in PDF format, so that it can be printed on paper (analogue version).
This means that the area development plans can be digitally exchanged, digitally viewed and compared via intranet and/or internet.
In the future more and more digital area development plans will become accessible via www.ruimtelijkeplannen.nl or via the municipal websites. A recent example of a plan by amer is the pre-design area development plan for the built-up area of Cabauw (municipality of Lopik)
Not just area development plans, but also structural visions should be made available digitally. Needless to say, amer can be of assistance, if you so require.
Even older (analogue) plans can be itemised retrospectively and be given an IMRO code. This means that even these plans can be digitalised.
Manuals for digital land use plans.
Some municipalities have their own manuals for digital (area development) plans, others do not.
A municipal manual contains the agreements for preserving the 'content' standard. It also shows the local impact of these national standards. A municipal manual can be used as a delivery protocol when commissioning new area development plans.
A municipal manual can also describe the steps for the implementation plan within the municipal organisation, in order to use digital land use plans as effectively as possible (receiving, evaluating, managing, consulting, archiving and providing).
We can offer support for the creation of a new digital manual or for the transformation of an existing manual based on the new standards.
